The Brightside Project will host a Popup Christmas Outreach in Salem on Thursday, Dec. 22, from 6-8 p.m. (or until supplies last) in Salem. Location to be announced the day of the event on The Brightside Project Facebook page.
Children living in the city of Salem are invited and will receive a toy and other Christmas goodies thanks to local sponsors, Scott Lewis, Brightside Project director, said. Children must be present to receive their gift. Parents or guardians must bring their insurance card and proof of residency with them.
“This Popup Christmas Outreach would not be possible without the Salem Fraternal of Eagles #316,” Lewis said. “They called us up and wanted to do something for the children of Salem.”
Sponsors of the Popup Christmas Outreach include the Salem Fraternal of Eagles #316, Salem Chrysler Jeep and Dodge, and Hogan’s Bakery in Columbiana.
“We’re excited to be the Brightside this holiday season for the city of Salem,” Lewis said. “I’ve even been told someone from the North Pole may visit us on Dec. 22.”
