Salem Neighborhood Outreach—Lundy Ave.
Saturday, November 5
11 a.m.-1 p.m.
The Brightside Project is planning its first outreach event. The Salem Neighborhood Outreach will be held in the old Salem Label Building parking lot near Lundy Ave. Children who live in that neighborhood are invited to come and meet The Brightside Project staff. Each child in attendance will receive a bag packed full of healthy snacks and personal care items.
Below are three ways we could use your help in making this first event happen.
- Spread the Word—For this first event we're depending on word-of-mouth to get children there who need a boost of encouragement. Download a flyer here to give to someone on lives in the area of Lundy Ave. in Salem.
- Donate Items—We are in need of the following items to make this event happen: juice boxes, bottled water, fruit cups, toothpaste, toothbrushes, travel size soaps and shampoo. Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you'd like to donate these items.
- Volunteer—We are in need of volunteers to help us prepare for the outreach and on the day of the event. Email email@example.com if you'd like to volunteer.
